Habitat
The habitat of a Bay Laurel are thickets and ravines, including damp places near a lake, pond or marsh.
The leaves of the Bay Laurel are sort of ovel shaped and shiny. It can get about 59 ft tall and it can get very old.
Edibility
You can eat the leaves if cooked, dried, and kept cool to keep them fresh. One way to use them is to flavor foods.

Another use for the Bay Laurel is head aches, burn the bark to attract deer, and smooth sores!
